A Timeless Trend: Fur Coat

The winter is almost over but as it is still February, I thought I still have the right to prepare this post so here it is: The Fur Coats.

 Fashion world has always loved furs, and so the designers always include them in their collections. However, this season I started to see them a lot more than usual. Therefore, it was high time to talk about fur coats. It can be said that it is the most friendly piece of winter clothing because they are both chic and extremely warm. Killing two birds with one stone, right?

Kürkler moda dünyasında hep sevilir, bu nedenle de tasarımcıların koleksiyonlarında her zaman kürkleri görebilmek mümkün fakat bu sezon kürkleri ben normalden fazla görmeye başladım. Bu yüzden artık kürklerle ilgili konuşma zamanı çoktan gelmişti. Kürkler için kış giyiminin en iyi dostu denebilir bence çünkü hem şıklar hem de oldukça sıcak tutuyorlar. Bir taşla iki kuş değil de ne?

Fur coats look better when they are combined with pants in my opinion. However, I can't say I haven't seen lots of gorgeous outfits with dresses and skirts combined with fur coats.

Besides the basic colors, the furs can be found also in very vivid colors. For instance, this season I saw a neon yellow one in Zara.

Kürklerin pantolonlarla giyildiğinde daha güzel olduğunu düşünüyorum ama etek ve elbiselerle kombinlenmiş ve harika duran kürkler görmediğimi de söyleyemem.

Sade renklerin yanısıra, oldukça canlı renklerde de kürk bulmak mümkün. Mesela bu sezon Zara'da neon sarı bir kürk görmüştüm.

Lastly, furs are beautiful as long as they are not real. Faux furs do look quite good, and they are way more affordable. Let's not let the animals get killed for their furs just because we want to wear a piece of cloth.

Son olarak, kürkler eğer gerçek değillerse güzeller. Sahte kürkler de oldukça iyi görünüyor ve çok çok daha uygun fiyatlılar. Bir parça kıyafet için hayvanların ölmesine izin vermeyelim.

Recent Obsession: Beanies

I used to hate beanies and even in the coldest weather conditions I always refused to wear one. That was because I thought they didn't fit me well and didn't look the way I wanted them to look. I still think so, but this season, this started to change a little and I started to love beanies, moreover, finally I started wearing them. Actually, I didn't really have a choice because it was impossible to ignore new cute beanie models in the stores. They are everywhere now, and this beanie trend is at its peek point in the history of fashion.

Eskiden berelerden nefret ederdim ve en soğuk havalarda bile takmak istemezdim. Bu berelerin bana yakışmadığını ve istediğim gibi durmadığını düşünmemden kaynaklanıyordu. Hala öyle düşünüyorum ama bu sezon bu biraz değişmeye ve ben de bereleri sevmeye hatta artık bere takmaya başladım. Aslında pek fazla seçeneğim yoktu çünkü mağazalardaki yeni tatlı mı tatlı bere modellerine karşı kayıtsız kalmak biraz imkansızdı. Bereler bu aralar her yerde karşımıza çıkıyorlar ve bu bere modası da moda tarihinde daha önce hiç olmadığı kadar popüler.

 

It is possible to find beanies in every color and shape. However, since I'm not entirely used to that beanie thing yet, I'm not brave enough to go for vivid colors, for now I prefer black and beige shades but I can't say that these beautiful vivid colors don't attract my attention.

Bereleri her renkte, her modelde bulmak mümkün. Ben henüz bu bere olayına kendimi tam anlamıyla alıştıramadığım için çok canlı renklere elim gitmiyor, şimdilik siyah ve krem tonlarında takılı kaldım ama rengarenk modeller de ilgimi çekmiyor değil.

The ones with a pom-pom at the top is my favourite kinds of beanies because I think pom-poms make beanies even cuter. 

Üstünde ponpon olan bereler favorim çünkü bence ponpon detayı bereleri olduğundan daha da sevimli yapıyor.
